Dnya Muffler Swap
03/17/16 at 17:16:18

Hello all. Im new to the forum. and read the harley muffler guide. I found a Dyna muffler that was debaffled and put that bad boy on. My question is for anyone out there that has done the same. what was the best  option for me to Rejet the carb. without having to buy the Jet kit. I just want to buy the 2 jets. Its a 2012 Suzuki Boulevard S40. with 1500 miles on it.

What's your altitude?

You'll probably need to rejet and tune more than once with a debaffled Dyna.

I'm at sea level (roughly) so the air is thicker and my bike requires more fuel than yours would...normally. However, with your Dyna debaffled, you'll need a larger jet than normal.

Just buy the pack from Lancer. It's cheap enough. I'd start with a 52.5/150 and tune it. If that doesn't work for you then go 1 step richer or leaner, depending on what you need.

We have several members in Texas. Maybe they'll chime in with what they used.  Wink

Just leave Lancer a message in the Jets thread. He'll see it. You could also PM him your address. I think I used Paypal and they arrived in just a few days. It's an excellent kit. You could always sell your leftovers here too.   Wink

My older brother lives in Wascom (east Texas) where the water is yellow and you need to take a shower after you take a shower.

Is there not some sort of legal sanctions that keep the water safe? I mean, if someone pours a glass of sludge, do the bureaucrats just look the other way?

We're getting waaay off topic now!  Grin
