Remove Front Turn Signals?
03/09/16 at 17:32:30

uhhh how do i do it?

I cant get the screws on the bottom of them out but im going to try to Dremel them to flat head and it should make it easier. but even if i get them out, I'm not sure how it would come off of the forks.

Oh also, I swapped the rear turn signals for some other ones and when i wired them up the left works perfectly but the right one doesn't work and it blinks the tail light instead. WTF..... Im 100% sure i connected the correct wires to it. Really stumped here....

Thanks! Wink

The screw that goes in the bottom of the aluminum mount holds the turn signal into the clamp.....the small screw on the backside of the clamp holds the clamp on the tube.  You will have to take the top triple clamp off to get the clamps off the tubes......which will also require you to take the fork cap nuts off.

You just drop the forks out AFTER you've removed the screws Dave mentioned. They "should" slide off the forks easy peezy ...

while your doin' that, might as well change the fork oil too.  Wink

*edit to add: just swap the 2 wires over for your issue with the rear signal you have them loopy  Cheesy

Ive dremeled the blinker mount off the forks on one of my projects, sometimes you can dremelba deep enough slot then break it with a flathead after.

I literally just unscrewed the side, then took a flat head and pried from the front of the clamp and broke the clamp. It was simple haha. I never planned on putting them back on so it meant nothing to just break 'em off. No damage done whatsoever.

Just my humble opinion:

except to the wallet ... could have sold them on here in the MarketPlace or on eBay for some $$

I feel ya but it just didn't seem worth my time when considering how much I would actually make off turn signals. I am selling some other useful items on the marketplace. Just about ready to post. If you're interested  Smiley
