I consulted my friends father (police officer) and he says they are legal in Nebraska. No ticks or stops after all the cops I go by.

I will admit that I don't know your local laws, and i have no plans to do any research, but as far as federal laws go they aren't legal. Your local Rosco may not say anything, but a hard nosed state trooper or on the freeway would probably not look the other way.

Which federal laws do you look at?

When try google what you're trying to say nothing pops up.

I agree with you that they may or may not be illegal from state to state, but it also differs from state to state. Nebraska has their own laws when it comes to the roads, same with Texas. Just because it is illegal in texas doesnt make it illegal in Nebraska. For example- Helmet laws... South Dakota all you need is eye protection- no helmet. NEBRASKA you need a helmet and eye protection. Another example- SPEED LIMITS Iowa Highway Limits are- 55- Nebraska- 60- South Dakota- 65!!! Federal road laws are out of the picture mostly because I don't believe there are any..
