Have an 01 savage. Jardine slipon, 150 main, and 55 pilot. 27k miles and still goin strong. Lately ive noticed after its warmed up if i am idling the exhaust pipe keeps randomly coughing every few seconds. The header pipe bolts are tight as well as the band clamp for the muffler. Any ideas? Thanks ........btw it was 55 degrees in michigan today and i couldnt help muself i went for a cruise  

Yes i realize and when i get time i will be pulling the cover off. I bought the bike last year with 22k miles on it. But i still need to figure out this coughing thing she has been doing recently after warmup.
