Is there hope?

Is the old adage " united we stand, divided we fall " forgotten?

Looking back I see a certain segment tried to govern based on their ideas.
Don't we all views things through our own eyes, and react accordingly?

This very trait of mankind is imperfect.

But instead of trying to overcome that deficient, we adopted our own independence and fragmented into warring opposition, as a repair.

Instead of growing the pie, we wanted to snatch their piece away from them.

We won't stop this mindset and the money and power it brings into our political process until we embrace all of us as equal and without needed to advance our own beliefs, race, gender, etc, first.

Are we not smart enough to see that is only a trap and will continue the insanity of the flawed thinking?
