Folks

I’m having problems with my savage ls650 1986, what voltages I must be getting in wires from alternator to regulator? I’m getting 12.16v, but I don’t know if it’s enough.

Also, I need to know if my problem is in the alternator or the regulator because battery is not charging correctly and turn it off all the time.

Those 3 yellow wires coming from the stator?...
They should have AC voltages... (up in the 50 to 100v range IIRC)...

Regulator output should be more like 13.8v to 14.8 DC... definitely more than you are getting...
