I got a BIG b/u battery!

I'll be in my truck, and can always bring one of my generators (unless they aren't permitted due to noise restrictions, etc. Cool

The b/u battery I meant is for electronics, but the truck battery IS a LOT bigger!

The Kick Stand Lodge has a very nice indoor clubhouse - and a covered kitchen/bar/seating area on the side of the clubhouse.  It appears there are plenty of electric outlets to plug in your computer and phone to charge them up.

Not that's a tent!  Almost like an easily moveable cabin.

That tent would be great IF you're carrying it on a truck,  if you strapped it on the back of your bike it would be like giving a ride to 2 fat chicks at once!

So Dave :

Is that condo tent to big for one tent-spot at the camp grounds ?

That would be great to have us all in the same bunk-house , makes me think of the place we stayed in Texas !  Smiley

That tent is sold - and I do believe it might be just a bit too big.  I will look around for another tent and see what comes along.  We really don't have to have one for this July trip.....we will have plenty of tent space for the 4 of us.....I can bring 2 tents and Badwolf is bringing his tent.

If I buy a bigger tent.....I want one that my wife and I can also use for just the 2 of us and our dog Lily.  I took Lily camping last Friday night on my way home to visit my family over the 4th of July weekend, and the dog seems to like sleeping in a tent!

I have a "3 room" tent that sleeps 5 or so that I am happy to bring...the problem is that I won't be there until midnight-ish Friday and leaving Sunday night.

We really don't have a room problem on this trip, and I expect that we will have tent room for you when you arrive late on Friday.

Badwolf is bringing his own tent, I can bring a 6'x8' tent that claims to sleep 3 but really sleeps 2 better, and I also have a 2 man backpack tent that works great for a "loving couple" - but is a bit tight for a "non-conjugal" couple.  If space gets tight I will most likely just sneak off to sleep in my trailer when nobody is looking.  I have a big problem paying the KSL $38 a night for me to sleep in my bike trailer that is going to be parked in their parking lot - but I will pay them for my tent space. (Same thing might apply if you you sleep in your truck....their definitions for what is an RV include anything with wheels that you sleep in).

I will look around in the next few weeks and see if I can find a good 4-6 man tent that sets up easily and will work for my wife and I to "car camp".....and I can bring it on these bike trips when I drive a car.
