The weather forecast for our trip was horrible a few days ago.....and it has improved a bit. I realize they can't predict more than a few hours reliably......and we are still a month away.

Still.......there is the option of having a rain date and moving the event to the following week if it turns out that it will be raining all weekend.

I caught up with MM once on the Dragon (I think I caught him napping in the saddle)..........then just as I was about to pass he did that "Group Ride Leader" thing where he raised his left hand.....like happens when the Cavalry is all supposed to come to a stop. I fell for it.....and just followed behind like a good Lemming! (We had caught up to a group of slower riders and I guess MM didn't want to embarrass them).

From the looks of that rig......we won't be able to stay at the Kick Stand Lodge. That thing won't make it around some of the corners on 28.....and certainly won't make the turn into the driveway.

Having a second engine isn't a bad idea......you can always limp home on just one engine if you lose the other one. (How do they get the power from the front engine to the back wheel?).

The front engine just idles with an extremely loud muffler for that traditional Harley sound and the rear engine does all the work with an extremely quiet muffler .

If you reschedule away from my training weekend, to something a little dryer, I too might be able to come.

Check with your other participants and see what days they like, or throw up a copy of the weather forecast so they can spot the really drizzly spots and avoid them.
