OK ...
If that driver had not panicked and hit the brakes ...
but instead ---
The driver should have hit the fuel and pulled the handlebars hard while pushing down on the foot pegs . There would have been a GOOD chance of landing rear wheel first and keeping control while landing in a strait line.
Its been my experience that : Hitting the brakes is NOT the best choice 90% of the time ,
but its the FIRST thing folks do ;
unless they have play "What if" in their minds for any situation they can think of .
you know buckleing his helmet would have been a good idea too !

My daddy always told me "Any landing you walk away from is a good landing"! You have to admit he was pretty graceful!

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

Now, now, MM --- it was Lancer who got caught out between the two cars passing and had to split the lane between the two of them with inches to spare.
The worst I ever did was pass somebody in a tunnel with no oncoming traffic. (one of my better Hurley intimidations)

But.....that fellow was able to keep the white mask on his face.
So his nostrils are clean.....even though his shorts are not!

It's when your shorts aren't clean, that the mask is really handy...
