rocker housing bolts

Not a question, but a warning. If you decide to replace the rocker housing bolts with new ones, stainless for instance, really make sure you use exactly the same length replacements! Some of the locating threads in the valve housing only have so much thread depth and going over by just a few mm can cause thread stripping. How do I know? Guess! Angry

That probably applies to nearly all of the bolts. They're sized a certain length for a reason. Some of them you can fudge and make whatever length you need work for you. Sorry you had trouble. Good luck fixing it!

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

Helicoils are a wonderful thing. Both threads repaired and engine back together in 3 hours! Oh yes. Smiley
