Large disturbances and many fires set. 2015 Baltimore After days of peaceful protests, rioting and looting began on Monday, April 27, 2015 following the death of Freddie Gray while in police custody. 201[4] people have been arrested and 98[4] police officers injured, 7 seriously, and 2 people shot. One fire victim in critical condition.[5] Baltimore Orioles home game against the Chicago White Sox on April 27 postponed due to unrest and the threat of violence. Damage included looting of a CVS and other establishments as well as the burning down of a construction site that was to be a senior center. On Friday, May 1, 2015, Baltimore state attorney, Marilyn Mosby, charges six police officers in the death of Freddie Gray; charges included 2nd Degree Assault, False Imprisonment, Negligence, Manslaughter, and Depraved Heart Murder.
