I know it was in the 70's, but c'mon.....
You can't blame everything on pot
It was made/converted professionally by Kamp King Koaches, I am sure Versy has heard of them, right in his hood.

That is a 1967-69 chevy van. I had a 65, which was similar, except the headlights were higher on the body. Mine was a dolled up passenger model short wheelbase with full windows, chrome trim, metallic turquoise and white paint and a full turquoise and white vinyl interior. Uniquely 1960's look.

What was the powerplant, a six cylinder, V8, V6 rough idle, or the Iron Duke 4 cylinder? Just wonderng, love the classic lines. Checked the add, it's a V8, probably 283.

Mine was a 230ci 6 cyl with three on the tree. Later years did offer a v8.
I bought my '65 in about 1977. It had been relegated for use as a hunting van. I had a lot of fun with it. Sold it in 1982 to a friend for $300 because I needed a new van with seat belts in the rear seats to hold a baby seat and he really needed a car. He did contract aircraft manufacturing work. Despite me having reservations about it, he loaded up his tools in it and drove it to Long Island NY. His next job was in Minneapolis (IIRC) and then Long Beach CA. About 3 years later, he shows back up in Wichita, still driving the van. It was pretty much the same, except that worn bushings in the shifting linkage kept him from putting the van in reverse. I'm not sure how much longer he kept it.
It was a great, simple, easy to repair, unkillable little vehicle. Kind of like a 4-wheeled Savage.
