Soz Bot, it's those short helmets the california police used to wear (Los Angeles Police Dept) , a half helmet thing with a peak and a zip off leather ear flap kind of thing. I have it without the ear flaps or peak (wish I hadn't lost that) and with a nice pair of Halcyon or Nannini goggles. Dunno what you guys call those lids over there but LAPD and/or Shorty fills the bill here. Don't wear it so much anymore since I got a nice Lazer Dragon streetfighter lid. But thats another story.
Anyway, It's very similar to the pudding basin the lady on the Harley is wearing, but blacker.

The early style shorty helmets are called "Pudding Bowl" or "Pudding Basin" helmets. They tend to have a flat bottom edge - while the more modern shorty is lower in the back.

Good looking gal and best looking HD Cafe' bike I have ever seen.
Why are her goggles on her helmet....and not over her eyes?
.
Probably for night time driving as I see they are clear and her present eye protection is shaded.

I can get into some goggle oggling.
Is the chain some kinda statement I should know what means?
Some bikers like to wear wallets that are chained to their belts of belt loop to lessen the risk of loosing said wallet at say 110 on some really fast and tasty road, some just wear them to look the part
My solution is a front pocket mini wallet
I wore a chain wallet long before I started motorcycling. Mine doesn't look as good as her's, though--probably because hers is more fashion conscious.

Mine is just a long camo wallet with a chain to keep from losing it.
I would guess it also helps against theives.
While in college, I remember having some of the fellow dorm boys play tricks on me, trying to run off with my wallet
. The reaction to the chain wallet gets pretty funny
. I think I had at least one who knew the challenge and went for it anyway.
Makes you wonder sometimes whether some theives won't try for it just for the challenge.

Hmmm... Sounds like a good idea
...until he actually gets the wallet and you try to take it back
.
...Of course, that assumes the thief is actually smart enough to immediately understand how the ninja wallet works

Just make sure that the chain is strong enough to take the punishment.

I haven't had my wallet stolen but have been hassled for money and cigarettes on the train. I tell them I was just about to ask them the same thing.....

never happened
getting swatted with a hunk of 1/4" plate wrapped in leather is a pretty stout wallop, a good hit will knock a fella right the hell down
It would have been bad if it had happened though
