Doesn't the fire tablet have a community site?

I ask making the ASSumption that it is still Android enough to have android functions and that you can run Chrome plus browser on it.

Heck, I can put Chrome plus browser on an iPad 2 from Apple and talk to it.

Justin, you have to learn how to use it yourself, but a Fire Community Forum would help you immensely.

I saw my daughter talk to her phone.

Text husband

Phone said

You want me to text husband?

Yes
Okay, what do you want me to say?

Call me ASAP.

Phone says
Okay, texted ,

Call me a sap.

Funny and amazing at the same time.

Actually, I'm lazy enough, and I Like the way I type.

Posted it in another post, had Linux 17 loaded and had a boot up crash error.... don't even remember what it said, something about a "critical error"
So I dumped it and put windows vista back on it (took me 3 days though).
Cant run my home security program on it, they haven't developed a Linux version yet.

My home security system consists of shriek alarms and a mean bastard of a home owner (I use the term 'home' loosely here)

My mint 17 doesn't crash, but it will freeze too bloody often.  Trying one screen in chrome and one in FF to reduce frequency of freezes.
BTW, am I the only one who thinks FF has been updated too often? When did it break, and why was it fixed?  It was more useful 3 years ago, now it's a real pain. Simple is better! Cool

I use Fire Fox for my windows XP and Vista PC's....  IE 7 will not update on one (15 year old computer) so I have to use fire fox on it to be able to view the net.
If they stop building FF, my XP and Vista laptops will not be useable to search the net with, but that don't worry me none, I have plenty of old 5" smart phones and a couple of 10" tablets with android software that will keep up with the world.
And of course my main laptop with win 10... which has its good days and bad days... so far today, its a good day. Grin

Been runnin' Ubuntu 14.04 for almost a year on a new laptop. Never crashed, never froze, the most stable system I've ever had.

Running Easy Peasy Linux on an Asus eeepc netbook for about 9 months, never crashed, never froze.

Running Android kitkat on my first smart phone for about 5 months, it's a little buggy sometimes, but always recovers and never crashed.

Have decided I prefer the Unity desktop over Gnome, but that might be due to my history with Windows.

By the way, KDE crashed on me today and restarted itself, but the OS itself was fine, so it did not have to totally reboot. I have to restart my programs, though.

yesterday I saw some chickens making a meal out of corn they'd been tossed
Hard to be sure, because corn can't run, but those kernels looked panicked to me  Grin
