New rockers vs old?

I'm going to pull the rocker cover and fix the oil leak with a Versy plug and proper sealant. While I'm in there if the rockers/cam are trashed of course I will replace them.

Will the new style rockers with the hardened pad area work with a 2001 year engine? And does anyone have a good used cam for sale?

As always thanks for the help. Cool

The new style rockers must work in the older bikes - as that is the rocker arm part number that replaces the older style rocker arm.  You can't order the older one piece style even if you tried  (unless you happen to find someone with some of the older parts sitting on their shelf).

Good used cams are somewhat hard to find....I may have one if you find out yours is bad - however it would require me to take one out of an engine that is currently together.  Lancer can send your cam to Webcam and have it hardwelded and ground to a better cam profile.
