Well, Row, statements made, and countered. Time to move on to another topic?
I'd rather see someone take my post and demonstrate Why it's not accurate and reasonable.

Remember when we didn't have any money there was a threat to dip into Social Security? Or we couldn't pay benefits to veterans?

And now we can welcome 100,000 people in? Until you can manage yourself, you don't take on excess burden.

Have you heard of the Cloward Piven Strategy?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloward%E2%80%93Piven_strategy

The Cloward–Piven strategy is a political strategy outlined in 1966 by American sociologists and political activists Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven that called for overloading the U.S. public welfare system in order to precipitate a crisis that would lead to a replacement of the welfare system with a national system of "a guaranteed annual income and thus an end to poverty"

Best regards,

there's some evidence that Richard Nixon supported this idea as well as Milton Friedman who wanted a weird negative income tax that was kind of the same thing.

"In its purest form a NIT (Negative Income Tax) promised a revolution in American social policy. Gone would be the intrusive and costly welfare bureaucracy, the pernicious distinctions between "worthy" and "unworthy" recipients, the perverse disincentives for work effort and family formation. The needy would, like everyone else, simply file annual—or perhaps quarterly—income returns with the Internal Revenue Service. But unlike other filers who would make payments to the IRS, based on the amount by which their incomes exceeded the threshold for tax liability, NIT beneficiaries would receive payments ("negative taxes") from the IRS, based on how far their incomes fell below the tax threshold."

In it’s, ‘Purest Form”,  Communism also works.  (On Paper, in it’s, ‘Purest Form”)

Late 60’s early 70’s. A group of people, would form, a, ‘Commune’.
In the summer, the wood cutters, sat on the porch drinking mint juleps, and smoking a Dubie, while other toiled in the garden, under the hot sun.   Then in the winter, when the wood cutters were outside, cutting wood at -10, so the gardeners, could sit inside by the warm fire, drinking mint juleps, and smoking a Dubie.

Look at  the old, U.S.S.R..   Mom and Pop, milked cows, and farmed crops. They, used to, sell those crops and milk. but now this, WONDERFUL THING, called, Communism/Socialism, came to be.  So now, they just do, what they, ‘have’ to do, as per the guberment.

Then the, Decent happened !

 Communism,  DID NOT WORK.
Cloward–Piven strategy, (NIT), would NEVER work.
