Three brake light setup

I got some red turn signals off ebay for $5 and found the light output insufficient during daylight so I decided to make them into extra brake lights since the light output is fine for night time.  Take a look and see what you think.  Comments welcome.

I like it.  And your helper is great Smiley
But, what are you doing for daytime turn signals?

She sure is Smiley

I added the running lights on either side of the license plate and then connected relays to make them work as blinkers as well.  See the demonstration video below.

These running lights/turn signals are incredibly bright day or night.  The video doesn't do them justice.

Why don't the regular blinkers blink?

I could wire them to work as blinkers, but I don't like the way they look in the day.  The running lights are currently wired to blink and they are extremely bright day or night.  I like the shock value of this setup.  The stock taillight has always seemed insufficient to me and this setup tells cagers that I'm applying the brakes in an unmistakeable way.
