Just tried one,.. and one is enough!...
...
14.4% alcohol... dark as night... aged in bourbon barrels.
Sweet coffee taste.
... very nice...
Anyone tried it?...
...a bit of heaven there...
...
I rarely drink in the afternoon, but I'm prepping batter for fish..
Good excuse...

Well now, something you and I completely agree on.
I split one with my son just a few hours ago, after we replaced the front rotors and brake pads on his car. It's a real treat. I can't drink a whole bottle by myself though. More of a sipping drink for the likes of me. And it's way too expensive for a garage-refrigerator beer. One bottle costs more than a couple of six packs of the stuff I usually drink. It's not all that easy to find around here either.

Thirteen percent is twentysix proof.
Brewer’s Notes
Bourbon County Brand Stout was originally brewed in celebration of the 1000th batch at Goose Island’s historic Clybourn street brewpub. A liquid as dark and dense as a black hole with thick foam the color of a bourbon barrel.
The nose is an intense mix of charred oak, chocolate, vanilla, caramel and smoke. One sip has more flavor than your average case of beer. Available in 6/4/12 oz. bottles and 1/6 barrels.
Recipe Information
Style: Imperial Stout Aged in Bourbon Barrels
Alcohol by Volume: 13.0%
International Bitterness Units: 60

Hops: Willamette
Malt: 2-Row, Munich, Chocolate, Caramel, Roast Barley, Debittered Black
Serving Suggestions
