I've seen single sticks used. And, being a guy who keeps a stock of music/piano/hobby wire, I Know what bending that stuff takes.
To get accurate bends in desired locations isn't something that just happens by accident. Bend too fast or try for too sharp a radius and it can shatter. Heat it? Yeah, then it crumbles. I guess quenching is in order.
Versy, do you have a bar stock with two rods set into it for a bender?

No, but I have a vice, a hammer and a pair of pliers.
I've done quite a bit of bending using these crude tools, but they get the job done.

Versy,
What we need is another window to be able to see the adjuster. Problem solved.

Reminds me of a salesman at a gun store I was talking to once
Me "Do you have the model with the 3' barrel?"
Him "No, but I have a hacksaw and a clear conscience"

You don't really need an oil filter do you?
It's too course to do any good anyhow.
Just take the oil filter cover off, toss the filter and cut thru the back wall.
When ever you need to check the adjuster, just take the cover off.
joker.
