The house I had was left to me by my Depression-Era parents. They had lived there from 1952-1996, then I lived there from '98-2014. While they weren't horders (like the nightmares you see on TV), they didn't toss anything that might be useful....as a result, I had piles of Stuff to sort through, sell what I could, donate (or toss) what didn't sell.

It was liberating, "lightening the load." I think we Americans often burden ourselves with possessions to the point that our Stuff owns US, rather than the other way 'round.

Even if the drive has nothing on it, there are magnets in there to get. AAAAAnd those very magnets can be put on the disk..
