Open enrollment is just around the corner......
I got my email reminder this morning.
I opened the link to see what its all about, as I have never looked into it, I have a Cadillac plan that will be counted as income, WHICH, I will retire before paying such a tax. I will be 65 in 2018 when it kicks in I think???.
Hillary has already stated she will remove such if elected, and I think if a repub gets in they will too.

Anyway, it directed me to my local HC exchange here in Washington state.
A few simple questions, one being yearly income, I went low on that number ($50,000).
I was aghast at my options  
All plans had a monthly premium of no less than 560 bucks a month, and all had a 20% copay across the board on top of that, even after you pay the first out of pocket cap at about $6,500.00 yearly.
No out of network specialist either....
You are stuck with whatever doctors the plan attracts to its membership, ARG  

I am lucky, I also have an out....
I am an American Indian which also covers its tribal members, which allows me to sorta opt out of Obama care. I have never used any of my tribal benefits, so I can't tell you exactly how it works.

I really don't know what you young'ns are going to do in the future....

How will you be able to save money and live a decent life of some luxury, and comfort, if the premiums keep rising and taking a bigger chunk of your income?

$50,000 a year really is not much income, and you are to give away 25% PLUS of that to cover possible health issues, and you will be forced to work to 70 before you can get, IF, any social security
/Medicaid.......????

This Obamacare really seems like a bad plan, and we already know a lot of money spent on its implementation, has been lost, and not one sick person benefited from those millions.
If this is the best, Hope and Change, can offer, then my expectations are way too high.

Seems the pooch is screwed....

Anybody else look into their options yet?

Note: I don't fault Obama for trying to make a difference. I believe his intentions were/are sincere, in trying to bring healthcare to all. As with his desire to bring peace to the Middle East without the same warring results, I think he believe appeasement is better than war.
However, he is seriously lacking the understanding of the mindset of those folks. The hate has festered for generations and has become part of their identity AND culture.
If he (and I believe he does) thinks by him showing, and talking acceptance, and tolerance, of each other will work..... is testimony to his ignorance, or just plan old narcissistic personality traits of his thinking and actions.
It prompts me to ask this question of him: Mister Obama, if you think by preaching acceptance and tolerance is a good repair to the ills of the Middle East, then why don't you extend that same remedy to the racial unrest here in our own country instead fanning the coals of hate and bias into a political fire?

Obama had a mandate to work on healthcare and he should have started with incremental changes but his ego and socialist nature wouldn't let him.

It would be, (Which would Cost, You and ME, in Taxes,  NO extra money).

So a person from MN, could buy Ins, from someone in FL, to a person from AZ could buy from a company in MA, Etc..

The BILL, was  $435.00.
For 15  MINUETS, of the, ‘ doctor’s’,  evaluation.
NO, BLOOD TESTS,  NO X-RAY,  NO Scans.
JUST Him ,Talking, TO me for 15 MINUTES.
Was   BILLED,      $435.00      !!!!!!!!!!

( Gee, when was the last time you, Billed,  $435.00. for 15 MINUTES ???)
For,  ’Talking” ??????

Of course, I paid,  $3,00.  for it !!!  
(Had, ’Insurance’)

So tell me, how MUCH, did the Insurance Company  pay,
And, tell me, How Much,  ‘KING BAMMA, got PAID,
to, ALLOW,  A Company to get, *$1,740.00’,  a Hour”,

20 years ago, had a ‘Hernia’ surgery
Paid $8.00 for 20 ‘Pain Pills. (20 pills)
Two years ago, Wife, had surgery, she was billed,
$ 36.00 PER PILL, (((  ONE PILL )),  for the SAME    PILLS   !!!!!!!!
That is, $720.00, for the SAME  THING !!!!!!@@!
