Wind screen that is. I got my new wind screen in the mail today. Put it on this evening. Although it seems very effective compared to no wind screen I wish I'd a bought the bigger one. The one I purchased was the 17"w x 19"tall. I measured beforehand and it seemed OK. I've ridden with wind screens in the past and have always enjoyed to coverage of the larger ones. On well. Live and learn.

I use this method to size my shield:
http://www.calsci.com/motorcycleinfo/Fairing.html#Height
I used to get big wind screens, but they become a liability in the rain if I can't see over them. In my case, I'm better off with a full face helmet and wiping the rain of the helmet's shield.
Another thing that will protect you from wind/bugs/rain/bird poop is hand guards (barkbuster) and handlebar mits (hippo hands)

Live and learn.
And next week, something new..
I'm sixty, I've been well acquainted with the word OOOPS, and for a time I was able to shrug and say
Live and learn.
Then one day it occurred to me that I was gonna be Really OLD before I'd made all the mistakes.
