DesertRat Serious Thumper Offline I love rat bikes! Posts: 1569 Arizona	Rear Brakes - Actuator Arm Position 10/14/15 at 05:32:57 Where should the actuator arm be positioned on the cam for NEW brake shoes? Where should the "SPLIT" be located in relation to the "INDICATOR" mark on the cam?

You might have to move it once or twice to get it in the right place.

welp, the rear brake change took about an hour and a half. Not that hard, really. I did notice that the pads looked almost new, only about a 1/4-1/3 of the pads towards the rear was worn, the rest looked brand new except covered in brake dust.

The hardest part was getting the axle and bushings back in by yourself. Especially the belt side. What a PITA. My girl had the misfortune of walking in the garage at a point when I was "struggling". She closed the door really quick. Sad
