Seat 'hoop' or 'loop' ???? (Read 111 times)

I'm thinking a bracket to attach to the tank bolts, and a bracket to bolt to the frame horns at the back, from the top, not the bottom. 22" long, 5" front, 10" rear. Anyone?

Bending a hoop is not something that can easily be done without the right equipment. The tubing tends to collapse and deform when bent...some folks have tried heating the steel to make bending easier - unfortunately it is really hard to get a smooth curve when you do this.

You can buy loops/hoops from Dime City....not sure if the size it right.

Someday I will be old......But not today!

Might be able easier with some sand in it or build a wooden form with the radius you want. Harbor Freight heat gun will do a lot.

I didn't understand his tiny scissors at first....then after watching a few more of his videos I saw it was a joke. He cuts nails and coat hangers with those little scissors! He also uses a match to remove any residual gas from the tank. Grin

They might have a old frame that has a good sized loop you can cut off and use.

You gonna actually put someone or something back there?
