Cam chain tensioner? (Read 52 times)

I get the impression it is, based on the comments here. Suzuki says no in the workshop manual. So I suppose they are correct?

Yes the rear guide can be replaced w/out removing the head.
You might need to remove the head cover and cam though.

I did try it and was able to do it. I think I had to take the gear off the cam and remove the gear off the bottom. Then you can feed the tensioner guide up from the bottom. There's a ridge where the head starts and that may give you problems. just keep wigglin'.
