Quick vm36 air filter match question
09/20/15 at 16:43:23
hey team, it has been a while since I posted. Spending a lot of time on my two strokes sites but miss my savage and Honda cb forums. Anyway I am finishing up another ls650 bobber which I really need to get some pics up for you guys as this is my best build yet. People keep buying them when I build one and I just have to build another.
For the question:
I am installing a new fm 36 round slide. I am setting pilot at 30 and main at 190 no ufo. No air box but have all wire in faux bullet oil can and keeping stock but modified battery box.
So how many of you with the VM are running a small cone filter. How many running a pancake filter and how many running velocity stack? Do you feel that a 30/190 is a good place to start regardless of filter. I have a thingy tail shaker pipe on the bike to.
Any suggestions. I still need to order the cable from Barnett and my new intact flange fitted perfect
I will get some picks up soon once it is done.
Thanks
Richie
