Valve issue?

I rode my bike around the neighborhood the other day and I noticed a sound that sounded similar to sucking up a small bead into a vacuum... if that makes sense, then all I did was throw her in neutral and than slowed to a stop and went back into first and it was fine but that worried the living crap out of me... I have always have a knocking in the engine or a rattle sound but is this a valve issue where I need to adjust them?

Reply #1 - 09/08/15 at 19:56:33 maybe, it certainly would be on the list. the trouble shooting guide gives some common causes for noises. you might remove sparky and see if someone dropped a rock in there. have you checked the cam chain? get a mechanics stetho and try to find the noise. It would be helpful to know where you here it most.

When it idles it's fine but it sounds like a BB is in the top left of the engine. Like a bb in a vacuume

So that's a relief haha If it's hitting, your rockers are worn out. but judging from the amount of screw sticking up, shouldn't be the issue.
