I had to fix my float valve and I noticed I have a 157.5 main jet. I want to go to a K&N filter in the stock air box. Will this jet handle that and if not do I have bigger options. I noticed most use a 152.5 with the dyna and a K&N. The bike seems to run well, but I have never ridden any other Savage to use as a baseline. Thanks

A jet that big is probably running rich enough to smoke out the tailpipe and also wash oil off your cylinder walls.  

Did you install that size jet?  Try a smaller jet (152.5) and see if you lose any performance.

I had a supertrapp, 14 disks, KandN filter, even had the inner pipe outta the header, and I don't think my jet was that big and the exhaust sooted the brake arm up pretty good.
I wanna say 152ish.

yes sir 155 of course many of the jets and bleeds were different so it might of needed it.

That's always the best. And the carb gurus have spent time and effort to create guidelines for tuning. What to look for, and what the clues indicate the next step is. There's a way to check if the pilot is right, Heck, I never understood it.. Just do yourself a favor,read up, it's like painting by numbers. These guys have it all laid out. Tech section.
And do some timed acceleration stuff, really feel of it before you start.
