It's books, read by real people, not some computer voice.
Tone, inflection, adjustments made due to context, and some books, well written books, give details sufficient for the mind to use to create a mental movie of the moment.

This book was so highly thought of that concepts from it, references to lines in it, have been used in several movies since.
I'm probably never gonna get through it, because I USE listening to stories that paint a picture to stop MY minds continual need /want  /desire, whatever, to solve a problem or something,,, so,I can't say it's all good, but the first five minutes is,,,
