Just wondered the other day and tried to Google the answer, but did not manage to find out. Anyone here know in which countries the Savage is still sold?

Well, technically the Savage died in 2005. The S40 Boulevard is basically the same bike with some minor changes. I believe the drive train and powerplant are identical to the later model Savages, but handlebars and paint schemes are different.

The Suzuki Boulevard S40 (formerly Suzuki LS650 Savage) is a lightweight cruiser motorcycle manufactured by the Suzuki Motor Corporation for the Japanese domestic market, and exported to New Zealand, North America, as well as to Chile, Brazil, Mexico and other countries. From January 2015 the S40 is on sale in Australia for the first time.
The bike does not meet strict European emission standards and so is not offered for sale in Greece, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Germany or Denmark. Used bike however can still be found in Europe.

For a price comparison go to www.trademe.co.nz and type Suzuki S40, you can also try Suzuki LS650, Savage won't produce much, into the search bar and the then work out the $NZ prices in $US you might get a shock.

here in Europe we do not have much choice .
Try searching the site autoscout24 , you will find many Savage in the Netherlands and Germany.

Or, as you say , keep an eye on ebay!
