Slightly chattery clutch

Hey gang,
Finishing up my Ryca and taking it out for shakedown rides (loving it!) but did notice the clutch was a bit chattery. It worked fine but the engagement felt a bit notchy. I guessed it was all the taking off and on of the controls got things a little off. I had marked the cable where it was when I started and everything still lined up. I then wondered if it was the fresh oil I had in it. I tried riding when the engine was cooler and then different shifting patterns (Higher revs, lower revs, different speeds etc...) no difference. BUT then I looked down at where the cable meets the clutch arm. That little piece of connecting metal is pretty soft and weak. I noticed that the cable hadn't seated all the way back into it. I gave it a squeeze back into place, it "schnicked" right in. I made sure the side piece was bent into it a bit to hold it and took it out for a ride. Smooth as silk! That was a difference of about 1/16" Amazing what just a little bit of adjustment can make!
