2) I've connected up nearly all my wiring today and this green connector is left over. What is it for? Is it for the side stand diode? I deleted the side stand safety switch so long ago I can't remember exactly what I did now. Roll Eyes

so you"re stating its not a "plug" type connector?
a junction?
what year is the bike and what are the conductor colors?

The Green 4 way plug-in connector is for the key switch, I should have realized this, thanks thumper.
I'm going through this wiring diagram and making sure I am connecting each part again. Still can't find the side stand diode?

no you cant get rid of the controller t timer cause it is inline to the starter and you need the relay to pull to activate the starter

The side stand diode is attached to the wiring harness.
It's about a 1/2" square chip that'll be between the carb and steering head.

BTW, looks like you've put 2 different years together.

I believe we've used this before...

The 2 ? marks where you'll be splicing 2 different wires together to bypass the decomp controller.
