push/pull to unlock, makes it easy to insert, just push and the ball retracts, then push it home.

The mod is simple, drill thru each weld nut in each bracket with a 1/4" drill.
Install the seat just like before, but instead of screwing a bolt in place, you simply stick the pin in.
