These longer cable can be used if you change bars and the drag bar cables are too short. There are 3 different types of throttle cables and it depends what year bike you have.

Thanks for the reply, I have a 2006 s40 and want the 8" biltwel frisco bars but I'm pretty sure I need longer cables
