Stew, we own our own thoughts, and attitudes, none can live in our head rent free, unless we allow them.....
Nothing is a waste, if we learn from it.
I often learn how, by doing it wrong, firstly.....
But, a flower grows best, and shares its beauty, if the soil is well tended!

My view at work:

Clear that place out, get a , Ohh, gee, so many things, glider, paper planes, some tiny RC,planes and do combat,, go carts, love me some go karts. Looks like a slick floor.

Container hauler... my condolences. Did that for 4 years. Heavy export refrigerated specialist. The shipping piers weren't that bad, had to threaten dispatch with grave bodily harm in order to avoid rail yards. I drove Freightliner FLD120s, Peterbilt 377 and 378 with a center drop axle and drop axle 40-53 foot slider chassis. Tractor GCWR of 105,500 pounds on the wheels. Can no longer pass the government mandated medical testing standards.

I do want to get the 1938 single axle Fruehauf sitting in the soybean field since 1942 back in useful shape. Plan to get an era correct truck tractor hooked to it. Hide a generator where the engine was, turn the trailer into a cabin at the pond.

very observant there buddy,at what point did I say it was a new truck??...done 1.2 million kilometers and still going strong...but it gives me some fantastic views (just like my savage)
