I usually get less tingling and numbness when riding the ninja than the savage. I agree about the gripping, sometimes it seems that way for me too.

I finally figured out why I like the way the ninja rides.  It handles like my old goldwing...just a little more top-heavy and a lot less power..  Now, if I could just get a double-bucket touring seat and some slightly higher bars on it.

On the savage, my butt gets sore. On the ninja, my crotch and man parts go numb. Both need seat mods or other seat as mentioned above.

Just an update on the racer running.
Now running 17 tooth front - 47 tooth rear
52.5 pilot, 150 main with needle set on top groove, 2 turns out on the pilot screw.

Pilot needs to be a bit richer as we have a bit of a surge when changing gear and shutting off and tick over a bit poor. BUT other than that bike is topping at 103 which isn't too shabby and pulls like a train. Only issue is that the chain stretches like a bit of knicker elastic and the clutch springs aren't holding so time for some stronger springs and a heavyweight chain!!

If we're talking about an EX series, motorcycle larry makes risers fo them that raise the bars 1 inch, dunno about the Zxs

Man 103, my S40 won't touch that tops at 80 or 85, depending on slope and wind
