Just get gas every 90-100miles u put on it and you'll be good. I seen somebody put a sightglass on the side of their tank but havent seen a gauge.

yes, but most use a trip meter instead.
do you want the $2 solution?

or the $12 solution?

or the $? solution?

Not that I know of, and not needed.

Riding, sputters and stalls, flip to RES and starts running good again and you have at least 30 miles to find a gas station.

Want to when you are getting low?  Slap the tank.   The sound of the tank varies by how much gasoline is in it.

Early on, I thought it needed a tach and a gas gauge. Time passed, I rode it and the shifting just became second nature. During longer rides, I just knew that the gas station was something I should be looking for.

A grease pencil, notes on the Speedo face.
Eventually, you'll know that it's been about a hundred miles.
Fill up next time you're close to a hundred mile mark.ride till you hit reserve,
Note, when you think you're close to needing to switch to reserve, switch it if you are getter in traffic or playing in town. Switch back when it's safe .

On JOG2'S point switch to reserve if you intend to lane split. No funny switching when stuck at close quarters between moving vehicles.

I'm just paranoid. I've run my tank down to Reserve exactly once. I fill it when it's about half full.

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

I used to use one of those bicycle speedos on an old chinese 250cc I had.  I bought a tiny rare earth magnet 2mm x 1mm from Radio Shack and attached it to the wheel with Loctite.  It was very accurate.  I used a 1/4" wire loom to run the wire down the fork leg to make it look more legit and to protect it.  I was very pleased with it and I'd say it's a good cheap solution.  These days I don't need it, I can tell how much gas I've got by the sound when I rock the bike side to side.

If you're looking for a great inexpensive option, go with what old_rider has done.  It really does work very well.

They don't make a gas gauge for this bike, and most entry level bikes won't have one either.  The work/cost/aggravation to adapt one from another motorcycle most likely in is not worth the effort.

Also fuel gauges on the conventional shape motorcycle fuel tank don't seem to work very well as the level changes constantly as you ride....the gauge has a hard time actually measuring a fluid that is moving around all the time.  Fuel level gauges on bikes like the Goldwing or ST bikes work much better as the fuel tank is actually nestled down in the frame and it s tall (not long and narrow).  The fuel doesn't move around much.

the free solution: when the odo hits xxx00.0, find gas
no 12 buck bike speedo, n 2 buck lock swingin from the bars, no muss, no fuss, no running out of gas
this was my firs reaction to lack o trip meter
then again, it's what I did before bikes ever had trip meters, or fuel gauges, from the first time I bought my first bike
