'Rember' a huge group of Christian invaders taking over a huge continent slaughtering the 'locals' and imposing their way for hundreds of years.
Then becoming the 'self-appointed' police force of the world.

Are these new settlers afraid of a new group of invaders imposing on their lifestyle and customs?

The Rights that the Constitution guarantees are the rights a decent person would want. Notice that there is no Right to steal or injure. I'm not gonna try to teach those who've survived this long and failed to understand. Those who get it, Happy Fourth.
I wasn't there and had no hand in the killing of the Natives, or taking Hawaii, or the slavery,, some things I just can't be okay with.
The world is a brutal place.. How anyone could claim Rights, as Granted By the Creator of Nature itself, and then Not extend that same idea to those of other races, certainly to those who were here first, its just beyond me.
And
All men are created equal? Yet, slaves counted as three fifths of a man.
Which increased legislative representation ...
