It has a porta potti
I need a sign
We loaded up, my wife, BNL, and myself, 5 traps, and plenty of anticipation of dungeness crab dripping with butter.
Got them baited and dropped in.
Checked back after a short soak, nothing
Kept checking the same two, nothing....
Well, long story short. I bought a couple new traps, they came yesterday and I rigged them up.
Uh, I never removed the small rubber band that holds the trap door the crabs walk into the trap, when shipped,
CLOSED Geez, I can't make this stuff up.......
I was planning on installing the belt sweetheart Dave sent me, but am having seconds thoughts, I might choke myself with the belt somehow
PS: We did manage to scratch out 1 lone boy keeper my wife and I shared with our dinner. We did get a fair amount of females, but we can not keep them. You have to release them.
Not sure why the females readily enter the traps and the males don't, but a discerning mind could prolly offer a few good answers if we think of their landlocked sisters and how they readily take the bait in a bar
