motor is not limited to electrical devices.  although I remember hearing the scientific definition of motor vs. engine in my electric motor class, that's 30 years ago.

Thanks to all of you for jumping in.. My son Jay is going to tell you a little more like where we are and what the sounds where when it went down.

I was skeptical of the shop when then they told him they looked thru the spark plug hole and saw the  problem.  He will post soon, thanks again.

I have a friend that can do the engine swap if I ask him.
