Instead of the Zero Turn mower......that appears to be the "Infinity Turn" model.

Wonder why those forks tubes are so darn far apart?

Well,Dave, there's One WHY. I actually have a few possible reasons, but WHY would I bother typing them?
Okay, perceived mass to keep the front from looking too spindly relative to the mass of the.....

So the wheel can slide side to side. It helps the turning radius.   Cheesy
