Got my new handlebars installed. Slightly taller than I feel comfortable with on sharp corners, but I'm getting used to them.  Grin

Ah, so relaxed and comfortable.  Having working shoulders is over rated!

That guy (in picture) lives in the St Louis area. I get a kick watching him try to make slow speed turns with that bike.

Maybe if he added Velcro on his gloves and grips......it would help him to keep his arms up.

There are several states that have limits for how high the bars are allowed to extend above the seat.....I suppose he avoids those states.

Or they don't enforce
Here in Tx the law requires you travel within 10 mph of the speed limit, so on a 75 mph road you have to do at least 65.....except you don't, because they rarely enforce that
In fact, they rarely pull 'left lane bandits' (PPL going way too slow in the fast lane, which in Tx is FOR PASSING by law) over, either

In SC the legal height limit for bars is 12 inches above the lowest point of the seat sitting area.

The stock Savage buckhorn bars are more than that. Flat drag bars would be close to that on a Savage.

If the intake was raised about that much you could probably ride through some pretty deep water by standing on the seat. Maybe it's a Texas bike. They'll need something like that if this rain doesn't quit.
