...and I forgot to bring my camera...

...so, I guess it didn't really happen...
But,... I just came back from a 120 mile ride... and somehow I seemed to have a slight downhill and 10mph tailwind both ways...
The bike was running so light and easy that I kept looking for flags and branches to see if the wind was pushing me along...
Also,... it's late May in Southern Arizona, and the temps are mid 70's f...
That's nearly unheard of... ( I even got shivers in few places)... Huh Huh...

Is it possible that my bike has finally broke in, at 34k miles?... (I feel like it grew 10 extra ponies)...
Anyway,... just couldn't have been a better ride...

Everything is in bloom,.. I saw two antelope grazing in Sonoita, and while I was stopped for coffee a raven the size of a condor flew by not 20 feet from me...
Wish yall wus here...
... and,... I forgot my camera... so it didn't really happen...
But it did ... Wink...

Cooler temps make more power. Maybe you're not used to the cooler air?

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

The last I heard, when it gets down into the mid 70's in southern Arizona they start treating the locals for frostbite. Wink

It could have been a tank full of fresh fuel, humidity and temperature (humiture?) that matches the jetting well.....or did you do you bi-yearly tire pressure check?

Might have been a good day to try for "The Ton"! Roll Eyes

Funny you mention it... because I thought about it...
...but, being the holiday weekend...the cops are out in full force on the highways and byways,... and I wouldn't want that fine for 40mph over the limit...
I think 50 over gets you automatic jail time here... Grin...

I did get up over 75 for a short spell... 10 over is as much as I'll risk...

You had me bro......

Man, I was devouring your telling as Hemingway telling of the old man and his fish.

My senses were awash, I was in saddle adjacent to you, as we sped through the spring deserts bounty....

Then my I awoke from my trance as if Nugget had fired a round next to my ear, as he single handily rushed the armed perp who had taken an underage child into its lair....

What woke me you ask?

Jeez dude, is it not readily obvious to all when you claim to stop for coffee and not a beer  Roll Eyes
