rear tire tube with offset valve stem

I'm shopping around for new shoes for my bike and have read the recommendation to replace the rear tube with a 90 degree valve stem mounted brake-side. Airing-up back there is a pain!
Is this the correct valve stem type?
https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/4354/20872/Bridgestone-Standard-Motorcyc...
Basically, we need the threaded valve stem with nuts and the PV-78 is the angled stem, right?
Also, should my existing rim strips be fine? Bike is an '08 with stock tires and 7K miles.
Thanks. I've been spending far too much time searching and reading so just decided to go ahead ask. Sorry if it's a re-post.

Yep.. that is the right type.. Let me look and see if I can find my order history at that site and I can give you the part I buy.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

on an 08 your rim strips are probably fine, but they don't cost much, so I'd go ahead and order one anyway
if the old one is good, you have a spare
