Stumbled across a small shop local to me that specializes in late 60s to early 80s cafe builds mostly European bikes but he dabbles in all metrics. Really cool dude and lived the savage said he had one back in the early 90s. Quoted me $250 for exactly what I want, complete system header included and ceramic coated (what I asked for). The scrambler style setup I have now from RYCA is right at 200 so I'm happy with his quote. Should be dropping it off late next week to have it done

I've noticed that I have a pretty nice exhaust leak where the slip on clamps to the header. PO didn't use the RYCA adapter just clamped it down as tight as possible. When I re-wrapped the system I didn't realize it was in fact leaking but it seems to have gotten worse affecting how the bike runs. So I'm super excited to get this done and solve 2 issues, heat from exhaust and poor running condition.
