They're all pretty much the same but the wiring colors may be different.

Ok so what I'm trying to understand is how to do it..do I cut everything out and start all over or take the harness and go through it?? Would be nice if someone made a step by step on how to do this, I would even donate the harness to do so

Unless you know what you're doing be careful about hacking on the harness.
Never throw anything away before you've achieved the goal.
Do you have tools for harness work?

If you are going to do any wiring, I recomend having a manual in front of you. The Clymers manual shows the wires in color. Spend some time to familiarize yourself with it before you change anything.

I would Dave but I'm not good at doing that, so pretty much just go wire by wire? Or start from scratch? My dad loves electrical so he is gonna help..

I'd get a harness, modify it, install it...
