Thankfully, I've never had any problems with them. I've even pulled over to the side of the road and watched them for a while. It was a completely deserted road with the only traffic being me. Sometimes they're so close I can almost touch them. They like to stare back at me.

I did hit a coyote with an airplane once. Messed up the landing gear and put me in the grass beside the runway. The brake line was the only thing that kept my right wheel from falling off.

I guess I won that one.

That one must have had poor eyesight. When riding I have always noticed that the Dragonflies can see me coming, and they take quick evasive action to avoid the collision. Somewhere I remember reading that Dragonflies have the best vision of any insect, and can see about 200 feet.

Killed the deer broke his arm and he got really banged up, the bike isn't totaled but needs quite a bit of work. He's a lucky sonna pregnant dog for sure.
