At least that front end appears to be engineered for a reasonable steering geometry.  I wonder how much it flexes in use.

The kid might just be sitting there while mom clicks the pics.
I'd like to ride something like that to see what it's like.
The geometry down at the wheel is intriguing.

I'm not giving up handling to look cool.

However, I will say two thumbs up for the effort!

But, with the forks being that long, I'd be scared for them to break and dump the rider in the street. Flexy forks can't be good!

I wonder if there is a warning label that states:  NO WHEELIES

Back in about 1973 I was offered a ride on a Triumph Chopper that had long forks and a front brake.  Being that all my training was in racing Motocross and Hare Scrambles.....I always slow down or stop with plenty of front brake.  When I tried that on the chopper the fork tubes flexed an incredible amount......and the whole bike began to shudder as the forks began to oscillate in protest.  So on the way back not only did I have to concentrate on how to shift with my right foot and rear brake with my left foot....I also had to concentrate on "not" using the front brake. I do remember how the top of the front tire would flop to one side or the other as you turned.....and it would make a huge arc while the back tire barely moved.

When I took my MC license test on my 16th birthday,... while waiting in line, and 1%r pulled up next to me on a super-raked out chopper, and asked me...
"Dude, can I borrow yer' ride for a few minutes?"....
I wasn't going to argue... Huh...
So, after my test, I hopped off and let him use it...
He ran the course in about 30 seconds and brought it back and said...
"Nice ride"...
Made my day... Grin...

Hodaka 125 Wombat...

Hodaka's sure bring back memories to me.  I never owned one - but when I was in Junior High dreaming of owning a motorcycle someday, we could ride our bicycles down to the Salem Motorcycle Club and watch the Hare Scrambles and Hill Climbs they had.  The 100cc class was dominated by the Hodaka Super Rats.  The local Hodaka shop was owned by Roy Lippiat - and the only oil they ran in them was Blendzall Racing Castor.  I still remember that smell. After quite a serious accident in 1979, friends rebuilt my Jawa 350 but they could never get the vibration out of the steering head, it used to frighten me every time I braked. I was whacked off it again in 1980 and after that there were no more bikes 'till 2007. I wouldn't want flexi braking or steering again.

Yep. You can buy scented candles that smell like castor oil, 2 stroke, burning rubber, all sorts of stuff. If I could find one, I'd get one that smells like old gear oil just to annoy my missus. Cheesy
