I have become hooked on these videos....and this is one of the better ones. I don't know if there is Vodka involved....or they just drive with their eyes closed? (Either one would help reduce the terror).
(The girl is not in the video....I am not hooked on what you think).

LOL, I like the station wagon that goes around to the left into traffic, then cuts back when it is getting hit, and the two guys get out with their bags and just walk off. Can you imagine that happing in the US?

Where do they need to be that they have to drive that fast to get there? I betcha that Flo and the Gecko are staying far away from the Russian Insurance Market!

For one, consider that many russian (and bulgarian, ukrainians ect) vehicles may well be "GI surplus" with a paint job,

Then, consider that many russian (and bulgarian, ukrainian ect) vehicles may well be EU scrap (not roadworthy and too expensive to fix, so scrapped and bought wholesale to reregister over there)

Then, consider that quite possibly Russia, the Ukraine, Bulgaria... etc... may well NOT have the same kind of "roadworthiness protocols" we have in the EU or in the US,
so that a vehicle that would miserably fail an inspection over here... is speeding through the neighborhood over there...

Then, consider that many people have a driver's license obtained through military service, when they learned to drive a 30mph truck or a 45mph UAZ/LADA 4x4... and now they drive a 100mph Toyota.. weee !!! Cheesy

Then, there is apparently no "DUI" enforcement (wot? You mean I can't drive home from my friend's party?)

So... seeing the Ukrainians and Bulgarians and Romanians here in Italy, the way they drive... Shocked

...commuting to work is a pleasure trip every time !!! Grin

I have driven only in the US, Canada and Grand Cayman....and on 2 occasions I rented a motor scooter in Cozumel. I have absolutely no knowledge of the driving culture that those videos come from - but it is frightening to watch.
