.... some of the people you have been talking to for years and years.

Some of us are getting old and creaky (finally) so don't expect the 2016 trips to have all the folks these 2015 trips will have.

Plus, once you retire the necessary funds to float a major trip like this tend to get more scarce.

I was encouraging Justin to go to visit with the guys on the Texas part of the trip since that was within reach of him.

I also encourage any of the rest of you to reach out and make the nearest touch point on Verslagen and Lancer's cross the country journey.

You may never get the chance to physically meet so many of us at the same time ever again.

Much as I'd like to meet some of you guys, I don't go across town without a good reason. Shoulders won't allow me to ride, some days driving a car hurts,, such are the costs of lifting more than the connective tissue will support.

I speak the "connective tissue" language, though with not quite as much difficulty as you do from your description, so you have my sympathy's on that brother. Be as well as possible.

Well, I'm only 60 and, best I can tell, I'm looking at being around another 20, I hope it gets better.. I sure did hurt my body... I'm seriously careful about what and how I DO, but, if the barometric pressure swings Quickly, it doesn't matter how gentle I've been with myself, I'll be in a chair with both heating pads,,

I used to joke with the wife when we were younger that I would trade her in on two "21's".....
I told her a few weeks back.. "well honey, it won't be long before I can turn you in for two "30's"....
When I get to the point where I can joke with her about turning her in for two "50's"..... well, then i'll be a happy man. But I doubt I will be able to keep up with the "50's" Cheesy

Riding the Savage is not the problem -- it is the mounting/dismounting. My choice was either the scoot or a sidecar; and I prefer two wheels.

I am 68. My dad died of his 5th heart attack at 43. They didn't do coronary artery bypasses yet. I'm doing Just Fine!

Ya, for having to drive around on 4 wheels with the top down and a much younger and quite attractive female sitting next to him, he seemed to be pretty much all smiles on that day. Of course, she may have been "shifting" that thing for him for all we know too.
